Web Design Blog: Decisions

I do believe instead of planning designs for the content (this time around), I will be planning for seasonal.

 

My first design will become a fall theme. I will be building with this new thought in mind. With luck I will have a portal open in as little as a few weeks. It may be simple, but I am sure it will be way more useful than the current NSCR.

 

As for the second website I am talking about... I am sorry, but I don't want to associate my name with the idea at the moment because it would cause difficulties that I cannot go into at the moment.  Hence, if you email me about it, or give me your email address in a comment, I can answer your questions.

Web Design Blog: Trying to Color Scheme

I am working on a plan.  I want to create a page and a site and keep it working together.  My problem is I don't know how to color scheme very well.  I know the colors that I love, but I am getting tired of using them and even then I wasn't very good at keeping them coherent.

 

So please, if there is anyone who reads this blog.  What colors would you come up with for the following phrases?

 

1) Anime, Manga, Graphic Novels, Animation, Conventions, Festivals, and Events

2) Pagan and Occult

3) Reading and Writing

4) Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror

5) Nature, Out-of-Doors and Camping

6) Costuming, Cosplay and Crafting

 

I know this is a bit all related, but I have ideas and need color schemes.

 

I know very few people read my pages, so this will mainly be a way talk out my ideas on paper and come back later to spark inspirations. However, I do welcome ideas!  Next thoughts will probably cover layouts and typeface and logos

 

Gah, I still need to redo my NSCR Logos. they are old and out of date and I need to make them coherent so that if you look at any of my sites, you will know they are part of the universe.  Another wall I keep beating myself against.  If I thought going to school would help, rather than hinder, I think at this time I WOULD go back.
